Today we no longer keep watch for enemy ships or shipwrecks, but the Mount Otoio watchtower is still a strategic and effective lookout.  In the watchtower building you will find information about the lives of sentinels and about the tools that they used for communication.

This place pays homage to the sentinel, a person that we no longer know but who held fundamental importance for the marine world for many years.
